House Rules

Dear guests, we are very happy that you have chosen Casa Andrea for your vacation in Sardinia.
This apartment is our second home and a dream come true, so we kindly ask you to treat it with the same respect and care as you would your own.
Our rules aren’t about strict prohibitions but about mutual respect and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere in our private area. By following them, you help keep Casa Andrea in perfect condition for everyone who loves Sardinia as much as we do.

To ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible while maintaining good relations with our Italian neighbors in the area, we kindly ask you to follow these rules:

1. Arrival and departure (Check-in & Check-out)

• Check-in: The apartment will be available to you on the day of arrival from 15:00 (or by arrangement). You will pick up the keys from the lockbox.
• Check-out: Please vacate the apartment by 10:00. We need this time for thorough cleaning for the next guests.
• When leaving, please return the keys to the safe box and scramble the dial.

2. Nighttime quiet and neighborly relations

• You are in a private residential area. Please respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• In Italy, it is customary to observe quiet time during the afternoon rest (approx. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM). We would appreciate it if you could keep noise on the terrace to a minimum during this time.
• Parties and loud celebrations are not allowed in the apartment.

3. Air conditioning and energy

• Sardinia is beautiful, but energy is expensive and scarce here. Please, turn off the air conditioning and lights, when leaving the apartment (e.g., for the beach or an excursion).
• Use the air conditioning only with windows and doors closed. It is powerful enough to cool the apartment within minutes of your arrival.

4. Waste and toilet (Very important!)

• Sardinia has strict recycling rules. Please, sort your waste according to the instructions you will find in the kitchen (Plastic, Paper, Glass, General Waste, Organic).
• Do not leave trash on the terrace (it attracts ants and insects).
• Please dispose of in the toilet toilet paper only. Wet wipes, hygiene products, or food scraps belong in the trash. The island's sewage system is sensitive, and a blockage could ruin your stay.

5. Smoking and Fire

• The apartment interior features strict no-smoking policy.
• Smoking is allowed only on the terrace. Please use the ashtray and do not throw cigarette butts into the garden or surroundings.

6. Safety

• When leaving the apartment, always lock the entrance door and close the windows.
• Do not leave valuables in plain sight in parked cars or motorcycles, even though the area is enclosed.

7. Pets

• Due to the rules of the entire complex where the apartment is located, pets are not allowed.

8. Property Damage

• Accidents can happen to anyone (a broken glass, plate…). If something gets damaged, please let us know as soon as possible so we can replace or repair it before the next guests arrive.
• Major damages may be charged to you and required to be compensated.

9. Final Cleaning

• The cleaning fee covers standard cleaning and laundry. However, we kindly ask you to:
  • Washed the dishes and put them away (or loaded the dishwasher).
  • Take out the trash to the appropriate containers.
  • Left the apartment in a state of "reasonable order."
